Feb 3 2021 Vision Board 2021

1. Ms. S. - Will take attendance.

2. Reminder: Break from 10:15-10:25. Departure from class at 11:50. Cleaning of classroom to commence 11:45am minimum. 

3. Review of Covid Class Policies. 

Ms. H's Class Covid19 Policies:

*Sanitize upon entry to the space. 
*Masks on until you are at your seat.
*Sit at your seat. 
*If you get up (AT ALL) - mask on pls. 
*Do not approach teacher desk area without mask on - maintain distance. 
*Do not congregate with others around your space. *At break or at other times. Group work - masks on. 
*We will be cleaning our chairs and desks each day prior to dismissal. One row at a time. Masks on. 
*Do not congregate at the door prior to dismissal - wait until your row is dismissed - mask on waiting for dismissal so you are masked once you stand to leave. 
*Sanitize as you exit. 

4. Class Discussion - 5 min - What is a vision board? Why might creating a vision board be beneficial in your lives? 

5. Please intro the video below - What is a Vision Board? The assignment we are doing today - Assign 2 in Teams is explained via the below video. Further details are also outlined in Assign 2 in Teams (which you can access via your phone once you are at the library tables in order to complete this assignment today).


6. Reminders to class - this project will be completed via paper and cutting out and pasting from magazines provided by Mr. Wilson in the library :) 

7. Assignment - Assign 2 in Teams.

Please create your Vision Board for 2021 including your Goals/Vision/Needs/Wants for 2021. 

  • Your piece should depict - What your vision is for 2021 and beyond. 
  • Your piece should include a minimum of 3 short term and 3 long term goals. 
  • Each of your goals should include a statement of intent (This can be a single word or a sentence to support each of your goals).
  • Your piece should include a variety of images (that fill the full space) as well as cut out words to support your ideas. 
Again, please use school magazines to create your collage. (Mr. Wilson in the library will show you which magazines are available for use.)

Please utilize the library scissors and glue to create your piece. You will need to utilize the 8.5 x 14 inch paper. Again, from Mr. Wilson. 

IMPORTANT: When you are finished - please take a picture of your completed project and upload it to Assign 2 in Teams - feel free to use your phone for this via the Teams App (on your phone). Alternatively you can take a photo and airdrop to a library computer to upload to Assign 2 in Teams. 

ASSIGN 2 is DUE BY END OF DAY TODAY FEB 3 2021. 

NOTE: If you get finished with your project early please complete the following worksheet :) You may use your phone for research purposes.

Ms. S. Please review with the class should all students be finished their vision boards and be able to start work on the Technology Throughout The Ages Worksheet. 

Students can hand these in  - with their names on them - post completion.
